Meet Your Host: DJ Wynn (Vinod Varma)
With over 25 years in the rock and heavy metal circuit across India, Oman, Bahrain, and Dubai, DJ Wynn has been instrumental in promoting local talent. As the founder of Resurrection Metal Events Dubai, he has organized numerous events, bringing top metal bands from around the globe and supporting local acts.
International Headliner:
Sinister (Netherlands): Formed in 1989, Sinister emerged during death metal's peak, gaining prominence with their 1992 debut Cross the Styx under Nuclear Blast. Touring with Suffocation and Cannibal Corpse, albums like Diabolical Summoning (1993) and Hate (1995) cemented their reputation. Despite lineup changes and a 2003 split, they returned with Aad Kloosterwaard on vocals, releasing acclaimed albums like The Silent Howling (2008) and The Carnage Ending (2012). Through global tours and festivals, Sinister remains a death metal force, blending brutality with dark themes.

Cypher: A progressive metal band from the UAE, blending modern prog, djent, black, and death metal. The lineup features Ahmad AlEmadi (guitars), Nishit Ramesh (guitars/bass), Mehdi Riaz (guitars/bass), Aaron Wadia (vocals), and Ahmed Elkholy (drums). Ahmad adds raw black metal ambiance, while Nishit brings technical death metal elements. Aaron, formerly a bassist, returns as a focused vocalist, and Mehdi adds fresh riffs. Drummer Ahmed Elkholy, from Egypt, brings experience from bands like Paranoia 0 and Mythos.

Tabernacle: Formed in 2019, Tabernacle is an epic heavy metal band from Dubai, UAE. After the disbanding of their previous group, Shawn and Rayner began covering classic acts like Manilla Road and Doomsword. They later teamed up with Jasper and Yasir, whom they met at an open mic event. Influenced by Omen, Cirith Ungol, and Manilla Road, they transitioned to original compositions. Their 2021 demo, Terror in Thrace, earned praise for its authentic epic sound. Available on Bandcamp and YouTube, the band aims to secure a label for future physical releases.
